The Green Bay Packers have hired LSU Director of Athletic Performance Jake Flint to be their assistant strength and conditioning coach, per NFL reporter Aaron Wilson . Flint is a longtime staff member of LSU head coach Brian Kelly, first joining his staff in 2007 at Cincinnati before spending 12 years with him at Notre Dame and later joining the Tigers in 2021. “Jake Flint’s passion is helping student-athletes reach their full potential, and I know that is exactly what he will do for us at LSU,” Kelly said after hiring Flint.

“He understands every component of student-athlete development and the preparation required to compete at a championship level. He has been an invaluable member of my staff for many years, and I am certain he is ready to take our strength and conditioning program to the next level. ” Matt LaFleur has some familiarity with Flint, as the two were both members of Kelly’s staff at Notre Dame in 2014 when LaFleur was the quarterbacks coach.

Green Bay will be Flint’s first NFL job, and he will serve under Strength and Conditioning Coordinator Aaron Hill, who has been with the team since 2024. Injuries played a huge role in the Packers’ failure to reach their full potential last season, making Flint’s nearly two decades of experience a potentially valuable addition.
