The Pittsburgh Penguins and Boston Bruins have both rested players in games the Flyers needed them to win.
Fortunately, the Bruins still pulled through with the win on Sunday. Now, Philadelphia is on the benefitting side of it. Carolina Hurricanes head coach Rod Brind’Amour has confirmed he will be resting some of his top guys on Monday.
Among them are Sebastian Aho, Seth Jarvis, Jordan Staal, Andrei Svechnikov, Jaccob Slavin, and Shayne Gostisbehere. Rod Brind'Amour has confirmed that a few top guys will not play tonight against the Flyers. "(We're) giving them the chance to heal up a little more and obviously get a little mental break as well.
