The veterans on the Philadelphia 76ers give VJ Edgecombe and the other youngsters some advice on what to expect in the postseason.

PHILADELPHIA -- The Philadelphia 76ers are a veteran roster led by stars who have been to the playoffs plenty of times in their careers as they have accrued a ton of experience in those situations. As they head into a play-in game with the Orlando Magic on Wednesday, they have a number of players who don't know what to expect in such an atmosphere. The Sixers will be relying on rookie VJ Edgecombe as well as guys like Dominick Barlow, Adem Bona, and Justin Edwards who have never been in this type of environment.

Luckily for them, they have so many players they can lean on for advice. "Just the attention to detail," said Andre Drummond. "Every possession counts.

Every possession matters. One bad possession can lead to a five-point, you know, big lead for a team. So, we have to be really focused on both ends of the floor, take great shots, get stops, and play our game and not allow them to speed us up.

" Tyrese Maxey has seen a lot in his previous four playoff appearances with the Sixers. There have been a lot of ups and downs in his postseason career and he just wants the younger players on the roster to be ready for any challenges that are presented to them in these moments. "I mean, just be prepared for anything," Maxey said.
