For pitchers? It's the opposite, and Brady Singer can attest to that. So far this season, Singer has allowed hitters to average 97 miles per hour off the bat against him.

That's the worst for a pitcher in baseball who has at least 20 batted ball events in the early going. Singer has already given up 27 batted balls that are at least 95 MPH. That's simply awful.

But it also could be a sign that things aren't working right for Singer at the moment. The stats certainly back up the struggles for the 29-year old righty.
