Jack Miller mirrors Alex Rins: Both riders facing an unlikely 2027 MotoGP return

The Australian’s deal with Pramac runs out at the end of 2026 after he signed a one-year extension in 2025. While he’s played a key role in helping develop the V4 engine, his on-track results haven’t matched that impact.
Miller has struggled to find points early in 2026, and tyre management issues have only added to his difficulties. Meanwhile, rookie teammate Toprak Razgatlioglu has managed to pick up his first point of the season already, getting off the mark in Austin. With contracts expiring across the paddock and teams already looking ahead to their lineups for 2027, time isn’t on Miller’s side.

Fabio Quartararo is set to leave Yamaha for Honda, and Ogura’s arrival means Alex Rins will also be out. Pramac appear likely to keep Toprak Razgatlioglu for 2027, but Jack Miller’s place remains under threat. Izan Guevara and Senna Agius are both being linked to Pramac for next season, with several MotoGP teams keeping tabs on the rising Moto2 talents.
According to Speedweek, Miller now has as much chance of keeping his spot in the premier class as Rins does. Both riders are looking at a possible exit from MotoGP at the end of this season.
