Tom Brady was not about to pass up a chance to spike the fรบtbol on his friends Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac. Brady, the co-owner of Championship side Birmingham, saw his side win 2-0 over Reynolds and Mac's Wrexham on Sunday, April 12. After the game, Brady posted on his Instagram stories: "Big W.
It's always more fun to beat your friends" while tagging Reynolds and Mac. The loss was a major blow to Wrexham's playoff hopes, as the Red Dragons aim for an incredible fourth consecutive promotion and a place in the Premier League next season. The loss leaves Wrexham in seventh place, four points off of the sixth and final playoff position with four matches left in the season.
Wrexham faces a virtual must-win match on Saturday, April 18, at home against 16th-place Stoke City. For Birmingham, which like Wrexham was promoted from League One last season, the victory helps move the club closer to a comfortable mid-table finish. Chris Davies' side moved up to 15th in the table with the win, well clear of any relegation fears.
