Paxton Lynch discusses time with Broncos, arena football comeback

•Yahoo Sports

Paxton Lynch is still playing pro football in Denver, now at the arena level.

Former Denver Broncos quarterback Paxton Lynch is still playing football in Denver, but this time, it's for the National Arena League's Colorado Spartans . Lynch was originally selected by the Broncos in the first round (26th overall) in the 2016 NFL draft. Lynch was supposed to be the heir apparent to Hall of Fame quarterback Peyton Manning.

Overall, Lynch struggled to make it in the big leagues out of Memphis, starting just four games for Denver over two years. Lynch then ventured into the XFL (Orlando Guardians) and the USFL (Michigan Panthers) before landing with the Spartans. "If I didn't love football, I wouldn't be playing it," Lynch said in a recent interview with Scotty Gange of Denver's 9News.

Lynch revealed he had opportunities to go coach elsewhere, but then this opportunity arose. "I thought about it and kept asking myself, 'Do I really want to play arena football? ' and I was like, 'Who cares,'" Lynch said.

He will be making about $600 per game in each contest. You can watch Lynch's full segment below. Paxton Lynch is playing Quarterback in Denver this weekend.
