In World Sevens Football’s (W7F) London debut, eight Barclays Women’s Super League (WSL) sides will field teams for a competitive seven-a-side tournament with tickets available for fans across three days of play.

Already confirmed for the tournament are Manchester United and Aston Villa, with a further six WSL teams announced soon. Brentford season ticket holders, members, and fans that have attended Brentford Women games at the Gtech, can access an exclusive pre-sale window before tickets go on general sale. Tickets start at £17 for adults and £5 for juniors.

Premium hospitality experiences, group tickets for families and discounted three-day tickets will be available: Pre-sale window open – Monday 13 April, 10am General sale – Wednesday 14 April, 10am Purchase tickets on our ticketing site. Following last year’s successful W7F events in Estoril, Portugal, and Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Brentford will host the first-ever event in London, with the WSL’s top teams competing for a share of a $1. 5million prize pot.

At the tournament, fans can expect to see elite WSL stars playing fast-paced, seven-a-side matches. 15 matches will be played over three days, with the chance to watch multiple back-to-back, 30-minute games each day. Matches promise to be full of goals, played on a reduced-sized pitch with rolling substitutions and no offsides.

Seating close to the pitch will put fans at the heart of the action. Building on the success of Brentford hosting the FIFA Women’s Champions Cup semi-finals in January this year, the tournament will include a festival-style atmosphere with family-friendly events, live music and activities for fans to enjoy. Jon Varney, Brentford chief executive, said: “We are really pleased to be welcoming the London edition of World Sevens Football to Brentford.
