Wisconsin forward Austin Rapp reaffirms plans to return to Badgers in 2026-27

MADISON – Austin Rapp removed any doubt about his future with Wisconsin men’s basketball . The 6-foot-10 forward reaffirmed his plans to return to the Badgers in 2026-27, announcing his return with posts on his X and Instagram accounts . Rapp’s retention is hardly a surprise after he said following the High Point loss that he was “100%” planning on returning to the Badgers .

“This wasn’t a one-year thing for me,” Rapp said. “This is a couple-year thing. I want to be here, and I love this group.

I love the staff. I love the support staff. … It’s kind of a family away from home in a sense.

” The Portland transfer averaged 9. 7 points, four rebounds and 1. 6 assists in his first season as a Badger.
