As a result, Thibodeaux could be on the move, and it could be as soon as the 2026 NFL Draft. “I think Thibodeaux is gone if they can get a third for him,” one longtime NFL executive said to La Canfora. Despite a rough 2025 season, Thibodeaux still possesses a ton of talent and can be a productive pass rusher in the NFL. The Kansas City Chiefs , Chicago Bears , and San Francisco 49ers could use a boost in their pass-rushing departments, and Thibodeaux would be an electric draft-day addition for any of these three teams.

An edge rusher duo of George Karlaftis and Thibodeaux would give the Chiefs a much better chance of generating consistent pressure on the quarterback in 2026. Chicago could also look to add Thibodeaux to pair with Montez Sweat. Dayo Odeyingbo is currently slated to be the other starting rusher opposite Sweat for the Bears, and he has tallied just four sacks in the last two seasons.
