Chip Ganassi Racing is the latest entity to join the GSA as the NTT IndyCar Series and INDY NXT By Firestone operation pledges to operate for a green future. CGR joined the GSA earlier this month. It is an important step in the team’s ongoing sustainability efforts and reinforces its commitment to sustainability leadership both on and off track to kick off Earth Month.

As a founding member of Green Operations & Leadership (GOAL), Chip Ganassi Racing is committed to embedding sustainable practices across its operations. Joining the Green Sports Alliance broadens the team’s network, resources, and ability to collaborate with like-minded teams, venues, and organizations across the sports industry. “Becoming part of the Green Sports Alliance is a key step in achieving our goals,” said John Olguin, Executive Vice President of Business Operations, Chip Ganassi Racing.

“Sustainability is about discipline. If you can build cars, teams, and systems that last, using every resource smarter, waste less and adapt faster, you give yourself the best chance to win more races. We want to be a team that thinks long-term, giving us the best chances to win each weekend and into the future.
