The 2026 Masters Tournament is in the books, following an epic round of golf at Augusta National Golf Course on Sunday, April 12. In the end, Rory McIlroy was able to complete the repeat after a nail-biting final round. McIlroy entered Sunday in a tie with Cameron Young for first place at 11-under, but McIlroy struggled out of the gate with a double-bogey and bogey through the first six holes.

The defending champ regained his footing and reclaimed the lead for the final stretch, with two straight birdies on the back nine. There was a scare on Hole 16, narrowly avoiding the drink before a clutch put helped save par. Then, on Hole 18, McIlroy shanked the drive and found himself in more trouble.

Rory’s tee shot on 18 goes WAY right. Will the two shot cushion be enough?
