The team suffered through another miserable season in 2025, but there were some positive signs, especially from quarterback Cam Ward. However, it will be hard for Ward to recognize his true potential if the team doesn't improve his supporting cast. If the season began tomorrow, the team would have Calvin Ridley, Wan'Dale Robinson, and Elic Ayomanor as the starting receivers.
That's probably not good enough, and the team would be wise to add some reinforcements. Kristopher Knox of Bleacher Report recently identified some trades that could happen before the season begins, and one involves the Titans trading for a disgruntled star. Knox suggests the Titans trade a 2027 sixth-round pick to the San Francisco 49ers for wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk.
Regarding this potential deal, Knox offered the following: While most expected Aiyuk to be released at the start of the new league year, that hasn't happened. It seems that San Francisco is hoping that it can still recoup some value via a trade. The Tennessee Titans would be a logical landing spot for Aiyuk if they don't load up on receiver help during the draft.
