Shane van Gisbergen crashes, knocks Alex Bowman out of NASCAR Bristol race in 4-car crash
Shane van Gisbergen started a four-car pileup when he lost control of his car on Lap 16 at Bristol.
Shane van Gisbergen lost control of his car and collected three other cars ā Alex Bowman, John Hunter Nemechek, and Todd Gilliland in the NASCAR Bristol race on April 12. The van Gisbergen crash occurred between Turns 2 and 3 on Lap 160, bringing out the fourth caution in the Food City 500. Trouble for SVG, JHN, Alex Bowman and Todd Gilliland in Stage 2 at Bristol!

It ended the day for both drivers. It was Bowman's first start since a four-race absence due to vertigo. Bowman was checked and released from the infield care center.
