It still has time to ramp up the drama, but for the New England Patriots sitting at pick No. 31 in the first round, they should be enjoying an embarrassment of riches as far as the available prospects are concerned. But with ten total selections in the draft, the Patriots also have an opportunity to really strengthen the roster on days two and three.

One prospect that has been involved in Patriots rumors since the beginning of the process is Auburn Tigers offensive guard Jeremiah Wright. Wright has spoken with the team at numerous events in the pre-draft process, and on Friday, he was in Foxboro on an official top-30 visit. ESPN insider Mike Reiss shared the quiet truth that Wright has been training with former Patriots offensive guard Eugene Chung to prepare for the NFL.

โ€œChung was a first-round pick of the Patriots in 1992, an offensive tackle out of Virginia Tech, who went on to coach in the NFL with the Chiefs and Eagles,โ€ Reiss wrote. โ€œWright credits Chung with helping him prepare for the pros as he's dropped from 350 pounds to 330. The two have become close and now have a Patriots link to share between them.
