The 2026 NFL Draft kicks off on April 23, and predictably, no one is talking about the Green Bay Packers . Of course, there’s a reason for that, as the Packers don’t have any selections on the first day of the draft. After trading for Micah Parsons, not only do the Packers not have a first-round pick in 2026, they don’t have their own first-round pick in 2027 either.

As for this year’s draft, the Packers aren’t scheduled to make a selection until the 52nd overall pick in the second round. Thus, if there’s an early prospect Green Bay’s front office has fallen in love with, they may have to move up the board to get the job done. 52, 84 in the top 119 picks). The 6-foot-4, 316-pound guard is generally viewed as a prospect expected to land early in the second round, but some scouts believe he could land in the late-first.

Meanwhile, Pauline notes “if Pregnon starts to slip, keep an eye on the Packers. ” Green Bay “sent a ton of people” to Pregnon’s Oregon Pro Day, and he’s even been interviewing with the team’s coaches as of late. Pauline adds that there are a lot of “questions, if not concerns, about the guard position.
