Kevin McGonigle hits first major-league home run for Detroit Tigers

Another first for Kevin McGonigle. And this was a big one. McGonigle hit his first major-league homer Sunday, turning on a 97-mph fastball from Miami Marlins ace Sandy Alcantara in the fifth inning of the series finale at Comerica Park.
