Hundreds of people ran through some North Side neighborhoods on Sunday for the Chicago Lakefront 10 miler and 5K. ABC7 Chicago is now streaming 24/7. Click here to watch Runners stepped off from Wilson Avenue with the Chicago Area Runner's Association, also known as CARA.
Athletes of all paces ran along the lakefront course before ending with a unique finish up and over Cricket Hill. In its 48th year, organizers say this is one of Chicago's oldest races, second only to the Chicago marathon. Runners all have different reasons for running Sunday; whether for the spring racing season or simply stepping up their game, this is a race for everyone.
