Ravens strength coach is excited for Lamar Jackson heading into Year 9 Baltimore Ravens  Director of Strength & Conditioning Scott Elliott expressed strong enthusiasm for quarterback Lamar Jackson as he works through his offseason program, pointing to both Jackson's consistency in preparation and an added boxing regimen that has become part of his training routine this year. “What we’ve all seen from Lamar, and obviously talking to him in the offseason, I couldn’t be more excited for what we’ll see in the body of work that we’ll get on Sundays,” Elliott said. “I said it a few years ago and it holds true — it’ll forever hold true.

The energy and the work ethic that I don’t think gets talked about enough because we just get excited about what you see on the field. That’s what’s been really cool to be a part of and see grow this time of year, and I’m excited to see what we do in training camp to set up the season. ” Jackson dealt with injuries during the 2025 season, but Elliott's comments underscore the Ravens’ performance staff's confidence in how the quarterback has approached his offseason work.
