Two Wisconsin hockey players make Frozen Four All-Tournament team

•Yahoo Sports

A pair of Wisconsin Badgers men's hockey players have made the 2026 Frozen Four All-Tournament team. Denver, the now 11-time National Champions , had four players represent the team out of the six possible selections. Wisconsin's Ben Dexheimer made the cut for defense and forward Vasily Zelenov was also listed.

Dexheimer put his heart and soul into the Badgers' tournament games as the team's senior captain. The Minnesota native had one assist in the Frozen Four, which came from their second goal against No. 2 North Dakota.

Zelenov found the back of the net in the first period against Denver. Wisconsin enjoyed a 1-0 lead for much of that game before it collapsed and allowed a pair of third-period goals. Either way, the Badgers would've been shut out if not for the efforts of the Russian freshman.
