Follow along with us as Erik Bakich and the Clemson baseball team look to take Game 3 and the series against the No.5/6 North Carolina Tar Heels.

Clemson baseball gets one more shot to take the weekend series, but theyโ€™ll have to shake off a tough one from Saturday first. What was already a long day turned into a grind, as the Tigers and North Carolina went deep into extra innings before things finally ended in the 14th. Clemson had chances throughout and put together solid contact at the plate, finishing with double-digit hits.

A few key bats kept things moving, and Jacob Jarrell added another big swing to his season with a home run that continues to pace the team. On the mound, Clemson got a steady effort early that helped keep things under control before the game stretched into a battle of bullpens. The Tigers stayed in it the entire way, but couldnโ€™t find that final breakthrough late.

Now it comes down to Sunday. Clemson will hand the ball to Drew Titsworth in the deciding game, while North Carolina is expected to go with left-hander Folger Boaz. The Tar Heels come in as one of the top teams in the country and have been consistent all season, while Clemson is looking to grab a much-needed conference series win at home.

First pitch is set for 12:30 p. m. at Doug Kingsmore Stadium, with coverage on ESPN2 and streaming available on ESPN+ and FUBO.
