Hoffenheim close in on second summer signing The Bundesliga side are close to finalising a deal for 18-year-old Konstantin Aleksa from Austria Vienna. According to Sky, the transfer fee for the Austrian U19 international is expected to fall within the seven-figure range. Aleksa is set to begin his Hoffenheim career with the club’s U23 side, where he will look to stake his claim for a place in the first-team squad.
The right-footed forward has already made four senior appearances for Austria Vienna, all from the bench. Renowned for his blistering pace, Aleksa has reportedly been clocked at 36. 7 km/h this season.
While he is most effective operating out wide, the versatile youngster is also capable of leading the line as a central striker.
