Georgia WR Zachariah Branch compared to NFL Pro Bowler

Georgia Bulldogs wide receiver Zachariah Branch is projected to be a first- or second-round pick in the draft and is compared to a Ravens star

Georgia Bulldogs wide receiver Zachariah Branch set the UGA school record for receptions in a season during his lone year at Georgia. Branch was Georgia's top receiver, by a significant margin, in 2025 and helped the Bulldogs win an SEC championship after spending the first two years of his college career with the USC Trojans. Branch is widely projected to be a first- or second-round pick in the 2026 NFL draft .

He's a shifty receiver that accumulated a ton of yardage after the catch during his time at Georgia. ESPN NFL draft expert Mel Kiper Jr. compares Branch to Baltimore Ravens two-time Pro Bowl receiver Zay Flowers.

The comparison is a positive one for Branch, since Flowers has made the Pro Bowl and topped 1,000 receiving yards in two of his three seasons in the NFL. Flowers was a first-round pick (the No. 22 selection) in the 2023 NFL draft.

He played college football at Boston College, so he was a bit more under-the-radar than Branch. The two players have a lot of similarities. Both players are supremely quick, elite after the catch and smaller in size.
