It's time to vote for The Tuscaloosa News Girls Athlete of the Week from April 4-10. Last round's winner was Northridge softball's Millie Tucker, who won 57. 45% of the vote (1,580) for allowing one run on two hits, one walk and five strikeouts in a 10-1 win against Gordo.
At the plate, Tucker hit 3-for-3 with two RBIs. Nominees for Athlete of the Week come from our top performers list the week before. Any sport in the Tuscaloosa area can nominate for the top performers list and, in turn, our Athlete of the Week.
