Bayern Munich exec defends Michael Olise’s emotional response to irate St. Pauli fans
The FC Bayern star drew the ire from St. Pauli fans.

After a first half battle with Joel Chima Fujita, Olise gave his opponent a little extra shove after the play, which put him firmly in the crosshairs of St.
Pauli’s rabid fans. Later, St. Pauli supporters tossed some debris at Olise as he was leaving the pitch in the second half.
In between those events, though, Olise doubled down on the ill-will being directed at him by scoring and then motioning to the crowd, which only amplified things. Afterward, Bayern Munich board member for sport Max Eberl defended the Frenchman. “He has emotions, he’s an incredibly good footballer and of course he always has to expect to be teased and annoyed.
