Women’s Basketball: Utah G Avery Hjelmstad commits to TCU

The Horned Frogs have now added four players through the portal.

Joining the Horned Frogs will be Utah freshman Avery Hjelmstad, who played in 31 games and made one start during the 2025-26 season, helping the Utes to a 19-13 record and a seventh-place finish in the Big 12.

The 6-foot-1 guard averaged 5. 3 points and 1. 7 rebounds per game.
