(Photo by Ed Mulholland/Zuffa LLC) Josh Hokit may have struck out against Laura Sanko , but the brash heavyweight hit a homerun in his epic heavyweight clash with Curtis Blaydes last night (Sat. , April 11, 2026) at UFC 327 LIVE on CBS/Paramount+ from inside Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida.
Blaydes came into Saturday’s clash as the small betting favorite given his Octagon experience and No. 5 ranking, but it was Hokit who carried more momentum into the fight. Due to his out-of-cage antics and growing popularity (for better or worse), “The Incredible Hok” is beginning to draw attention from fight fans.
Some want to see him win while most want to see him lose. After Saturday night, everyone will want to see Hokit fight again. The undefeated heavyweight contender went balls to the wall against Blaydes, who is not a walk in the park.
Hokit landed some big shots early on that nearly put Blaydes out. “Razor” somehow survived and turned the tide on Hokit towards the end of the first round. It allowed Hokit the opportunity show off a really good chin and unbelievable will to push through exhaustion.
