Alabama football adds in-state DL commitment to 2027 recruiting class
Alabama football has another 2027 commitment. Avrian Pauley, a 3-star defensive end out of Mobile, announced Saturday, April 11 that he would commit to Alabama 's 2027 recruiting class while reportedly attending the Crimson Tide 's A-Day. Pauley, from McGill Toolen High School, is the fourth member of the Crimson Tide's class along with in-state four-star quarterback Trent Seaborn .

What Avrian Pauley brings to Alabama football 2027 recruiting class Alabama has seen its share of recruiting movement in the 2027 class. Yes, Pauley is the only defensive lineman committed to the Crimson Tide.
But he wasn't the first. Alabama lost commitments from Mobile four-star edge Jabarrius Garror and Pell City four-star edge Ba'Roc Willis. Pauley, standing at 6-foot-5, 265 pounds, has the body type to develop anywhere from the interior to Bandit defensive end.
He is ranked as the No. 539 player in the 2027 recruiting class, per 247Sports' composite rankings.
