The American was part of the Ryder Cup team in September and has collected a few big wins since last Summer to vault into the top five of the Official World Golf Ranking. Now, it appears Young has been able to play to his talent level, allowing him to consistently compete in majors. Since 2022, Young has participated in every major tournament, at times putting himself in the mix and at times ending those tournaments without much of an impact.

However, Young has also missed the cut at six different major starts, producing a very uneven resume at golf's biggest events. Young's best performance came at the 2022 British Open, when he finished second to Cameron Smith with a score of -19 at St. Andrew's in Scotland.
