There's no question Jack Jones is a talented player. The former Raiders starting CB is returning to his Cali roots to try and stick with a team.

Jack Jones has made a lot of stops entering his fifth year in the NFL. Originally a fourth round pick by the Patriots , he was cut in his second season and signed with the Raiders. Then cut again and signed with the Dolphins.

And after one season there, the California native is returning to his home state to sign with the 49ers on a one-year deal. Dolphins free agent cornerback Jack Jones is signing a one-year deal with the 49ers, per his agent Drew Rosenhaus. pic.

In total he appeared in 24 games with 19 starts for the Raiders, picking off five passes and breaking up an impressive 20 passes. It was his former high school and college coach Antonio Pierce who brought him into the fold in 2023. And when Pierce kept the job in 2024, Jones kept his job as well.
