“I know it’s always easier when you’re winning – I’m not naive about that. But I still think we try everything to truly be a family. We’re doing well today, but we did this even when things weren’t going so well.

That gives me the feeling that maybe that’s exactly why we’re achieving what we’re currently doing. Not always with the same starting eleven, but with a whole team that is competitive and supports each other,” Kompany said (as captured by @iMiaSanMia ). Kompany is correct, Bayern Munich has been bolstered by a true, team effort this season.

Whether it was dealing with injuries, working through slumps, or having to go to battle against top-tier competition like Real Madrid, Arsenal, and Paris Saint-Germain, the Bavarians have shown grit, fight, and a championship mentality. Hopefully, that mindset can lead the Bavarians to a trophy or three as this season winds down.
