The ‘big mall’ on the other hand was ugly. And I found out that, if you are in Fargo, doing the accent they use in the movie Fargo doesn’t go over big. But the downtown area is nice, and they have a great walking mall, with some great bars near the ballpark.
But mostly I liked watching Jose Bautista hit home runs there. We drove to Minnesota, which is a two and half day drive from Calgary. It would have been quicker, but the border guards didn’t believe that we were going to Minnesota to watch baseball (I don’t know why they thought we were going to Minnesota).
