The Japanese star, who has been riddled with injuries since joining the team prior to the start of the 2024/25 season, alerted the bench that he needed to come out and pointed to his calf, implying there was an issue.
The best case scenario is that this is just a cramp. Hopefully, Itō is not the latest Bayern Munich player to be felled by a calf issue this season. For whatever reason, calf problems have become a problem within the squad: Hiroki Itō looks to be struggling with cramps and is off.
