The report suggests club president Florentino Perez has asked his closest advisor, Anas Laghari, to make one last attempt to sign Klopp this coming summer.

Klopp is currently working for Red Bull, but that hasn’t stopped him from being linked with a move to Real Madrid, although the German has denied having any talks with the Spanish club.
Within the Real Madrid ranks, though, Klopp has yet to generate total consensus. Perez is still slightly on edge about signing the German as he would require total control of the board, management and players. This was a right given only to Jose Mourinho more than a decade ago.
Since then, Real Madrid have refused to grant total control to future coaches, including the likes of Xabi Alonso, Carlo Ancelotti and Zinedine Zidane.
