Rutgers Big Man Gevonte Ware Announces Return to Program For Next Season

He is the second Scarlet Knight to officially announced his return to the team after Jamicheal Davis did so yesterday. He returns to Rutgers with 3 years of eligibility remaining. Big G is excited to show out at Jersey Mike's next season.

He’s a hard worker with a high ceiling, and we’re excited to have him back as he continues to develop in our program.
” Ware appeared in six games for Rutgers in November/ December of last season, seeing time in the Players Era Tournament against high major competition, and against mid major/ low major in the teams other non conference competition. After the start of Big Ten play, Ware was on and off the injury/ availability reports and did not see any in game action for the final three months of the season. In those six games he played, Ware played a total of 36 minutes and averaged 0.
