Blackhawks vs. Blues: Final Weekend, Preview, Lineups, & How To Watch Game 80
The Chicago Blackhawks (28-37-14) play their final weekend game of the 2025-26 NHL regular season on Saturday afternoon, with the division rival St. Louis Blues (33-33-12) coming to town for a tilt at the United Center. It’s also the fourth and final meeting of the season series between the two teams.
The Blackhawks have emerged victorious in two of the first three matchups this year, defeating the Blues 8-3 at Enterprise Center on Oct. 15 and 7-3 at the United Center on Jan. 7.
St. Louis’ lone win of the season series came on Dec. 12, besting Chicago 3-2 on home ice.
That was also the game where star forward Connor Bedard suffered a shoulder injury in the final second, forcing him to be out of the lineup for nearly one month. Last time out, the Blackhawks were throttled 7-2 by the Carolina Hurricanes at the United Center on Thursday, recording their ninth loss in the last 11 games. On the bright side, rookie Anton Frondell continued his excellent start to his NHL career, tallying both goals for Chicago to give him eight points (3G, 5A) through his first nine games.
Louis Crevier picked up a primary assist on each of Frondell’s two goals. Spencer Knight allowed seven goals on 22 shots faced to pick up the loss in net. The Blues are coming off a disappointing 3-2 home loss to the Winnipeg Jets on Thursday and have dropped back-to-back games to all but ruin their chances of sneaking into the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
