Kentucky guard Collin Chandler is transferring to BYU
The former Cougars commit averaged 9.7 points per game and shot 41% from 3-point range as a sophomore this past season.

Now, more than 1,600 days later and after both serving a full-time mission and spending two years at Kentucky, Chandler has again chosen the Cougars. The former Wildcats guard is transferring to BYU, he announced Saturday via social media, becoming the Cougars’ first portal addition of the offseason. Collin Chandler is a BYU Cougar pic.

He appeared in 66 contests during his time as a Wildcat, reaching the NCAA Tournament’s Sweet 16 as a freshman and the round of 32 this year. At the time of his high school commitment, Chandler was the highest-rated signee for the Cougars in the 247 Sports era, with the Farmington High product rating as a 4-star prospect and the No. 6 combo guard in his class.
