Real Madrid loanee backs comeback chances vs Bayern – ‘If you don’t believe in them, who will you believe in? ’ Real Madrid are going through a difficult moment since returning from the international break, failing to win three games in a row. After back-to-back losses against RCD Mallorca and Bayern Munich, the Merengues were held to a 1-1 draw by Girona on Friday night.
With that result, the La Liga title seems to be pretty much out of reach, especially if Barcelona beat Espanyol later today. So, the Champions League will remain the only avenue for a trophy, but their chances there are looking grim as well. After all, they lost 1-2 to Bayern in the first leg of the quarter-finals and will need to play out of their skin in the second leg next week to turn things around.
Mario Martin tips Real Madrid to qualify Given the situation, coupled with Bayern Munich’s terrific form, chances of a comeback for Real Madrid are slim. However, one of their current loanees, Mario Martin, believes that the Merengues have what it takes to eliminate Bayern Munich and progress to the semi-finals. Mario Martin is on loan at Getafe from Real Madrid.

They’re proving they’re an incredible team, and with Arbeloa, they’re playing very well,” the 22-year-old midfielder said.
Continuing, the Real Madrid academy graduate added: “They’re contenders to come back. If you don’t believe in Madrid, who will you believe in? ” Martin, so far, has played 30 matches for Getafe this season, scoring four and assisting two goals, helping in their push for European football next season.
