Steelers mock draft: Top 30 visit edition
The Steelers are quickly wrapping up their Top 30 visits so we're updating our three-round mock draft with just those players.
The Pittsburgh Steelers have nearly wrapped up their Top 30 visits ahead of the 2026 NFL Draft. The Steelers still have five slots open and we expect them to come in at some point next week. But with what we have now, we decided to put together a three-round mock draft using only players the Steelers have brought in so far and relative to their draft value.
Despite a very busy offseason, the Steelers still have very clear and concise roster needs. The team still doesn't know who is going to start at quarterback, the team needs a No. 3 wide receiver who can contribute like a starter and in addition to depth at cornerback, solidifying the left guard is another top need.
Looking at our picks, all of these names have been included in mock drafts and rankings prior to the visits. Denzel Boston, Chris Johnson and Keylan Rutledge are day one contributors and Rutledge could easily win the starting left guard job. Darrell Jackson has a ton of potential, and with so many defensive linemen not coming back would have every opportunity to play.
Including Cole Payton in this would give the Steelers excellent competition with Will Howard and a player who we assume would work under Aaron Rodgers at some point. First round - WR Denzel Boston - Washington Second round - CB Chris Johnson - San Diego State Third round - G Keylan Rutledge - Georgia Tech Third round - DT Darrell Jackson Jr. - Florida State Third round - QB Cole Payton - North Dakota State This article originally appeared on Steelers Wire: Steelers mock draft: Top 30 visit edition
