Robert MacIntyre shares, then deletes, defiant gnome meme about Masters outbursts
Robert MacIntyre's Masters Thursday antics have been talked about by everyone but him. But online, the Scottish golfer shared a meme that leans into the trouble he's found.
Robert MacIntyre declined interview requests following his missed cut at the 2026 Masters Tournament . But the 29-year-old Scotsman appears to be doubling down on his middle-finger episode Thursday after his ball found the water on No. 15.
On his official social media account, MacIntyre posted an image, which portrayed himself as a gnome using the same finger, inside a Masters box. By Saturday morning, however, it had been deleted. MacIntyre’s second nine on Thursday included 41 shots, some foul language caught on live mics on Nos.
12 and 13, two club slams on Nos. 14 and 17 ― oh, and of course the finger gesture. As of Saturday morning, Augusta National had not confirmed if MacIntyre was reprimanded for his behavior.
