Rory McIlroy is skipping the RBC Heritage yet again. But the field for the signature event at Harbour Town Golf Links on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, is otherwise loaded with world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, the 2024 champ, defending champion, Justin Thomas, and reigning FedEx Cup champion Tommy Fleetwood.
Max Homa and Tony Finau have received sponsor exemptions into the fourth of eight signature events while Jordan Spieth and Michael Thorbjornsen are in via their spot on the current season FedEx Cup point list. Johnny Keefer, the 2025 Korn Ferry Tour Player of the Year, and Korn Ferry Tour Championship winner Chandler Blanchet are in through the Aon Swing 5. The Aon Swing 10 results will be finalized after the conclusion of the Masters.
McIlroy has played the RBC Heritage only twice – in 2020 and 2024. Here’s a list of the 72-man field and the alternates list. The RBC Heritage is the fourth of eight Signature Events during the 2026 PGA TOUR Season.
