Official: Barcelona squad list to face Espanyol – De Jong returns FC Barcelona lock horns with neighbours and arch-rivals RCD Espanyol later tonight in the Catalan derby in La Liga. Ahead of the big game at the Spotify Camp Nou, Barcelona manager Hansi Flick has announced the squad list of players available at his disposal for selection. The major development is that key midfielder Frenkie de Jong has received his medical discharge and is back in the squad after missing more than a month of action due to a hamstring injury.

However, it is unlikely that he will be named in the starting lineup for the derby later in the evening. Meanwhile, Pedri is fit and in the squad after coming off at half-time in the UCL clash against Atletico Madrid earlier this week due to discomfort. Lamine Yamal, too, is available after having stopped training prematurely on Friday due to some minor discomfort.

Raphinha, Marc Bernal, and Andreas Christensen remain unavailable due to injuries for the home team. Young defenders Alvaro Cortes and Xavi Espart continue in the squad, although Tommy Marques has not been called up by the manager.
