High school baseball, softball and soccer teams were in action.
BASEBALL Bay Port 3, Pulaski 0 PULASKI - Parker Lawson pitched a one-hitter to lead the Pirates to the win over the Red Raiders. Lawson walked one and struck out 14 for Bay Port. Cayden Heier had two hits for the Pirates.
Brock Wiedeman started and took the loss for Pulaski. He allowed two runs on five hits and one walk over five innings. Green Bay Preble 5-5, Ashwaubenon 4-4 ASHWAUBENON - The Hornets snapped a 4-4 tie with a run in the sixth inning to defeat the Jaguars in the first game of the doubleheader sweep.
David Petasek had a triple and a home run, scored two runs and drove in two for Preble. Will VanBoxtel also had two hits. Trent DeMeuse started for Preble and allowed four runs over 2⅓ innings.
Dallas Rady relieved and pitched the final 4⅔ innings, blanking Ashwaubenon on two hits and five walks while striking out nine to get the win. Nolan Vertz had a pair of doubles for Ashwaubenon. Nick Smith took the loss for the Jaguars.
