NFL reporter: Titans should acquire Falcons TE Kyle Pitts
One longtime NFL reporter suggests that the Tennessee Titans should acquire Atlanta Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts.
The Tennessee Titans are currently evaluating the 2026 NFL Draft class ahead of the big event later this month. General manager Mike Borgonzi is known for wanting to build through the draft, but that hasn't stopped new head coach Robert Saleh from pushing for specific moves in free agency. The result has seen some nice talent arrive in Nashville, but the Titans still haven't answered all of their questions.
Despite wanting to build through the draft, the Titans' wide receivers' room is relatively young. Calvin Ridley is the oldest at 31, and everyone else is 28 (TE Kyle Granson) or younger. It certainly wouldn't hurt to have another veteran pass-catcher for Cam Ward to throw to, and FOX Sports reporter Ralph Vacchiano suggests that Atlanta Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts might be the way to go.
Acquire: TE Kyle Pitts from the Atlanta FalconsCost: 2026 second-round pick (35th), 2026 fourth-round pick (101st) The Titans are all about the development of QB Cam Ward, but they’re still a bit thin on players for him to throw to. Calvin Ridley is 31 and coming off a broken leg. Tennessee's No.
1 receiver will probably be Wan’Dale Robinson, who is 5-foot-8. And TE Chig Okonkwo left in free agency. The Falcons placed the franchise tag on Pitts but haven’t ruled out trading him if they can’t sign him to a long-term deal.
