Suns injury update. Grayson Allen suffers hamstring injury vs Lakers
Phoenix Suns guard Grayson Allen has played just 51 games this season due to multiple injuries.
LOS ANGELES – Grayson Allen exited Friday’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers in the second quarter with an injury after making a tough shot over Deandre Ayton. Fouled on the play, Allen completed the three-point play with the ensuing free throw, but the Suns called a timeout with 8:22 remaining in the first half to take Allen out of the game. The Suns have ruled out Allen the reminder of the April 10 game with a left hamstring injury as he grabbed at it before exiting the game.
Allen scored eight points on 2-of-7 shooting in the first half as he got the start. Allen missed Wednesday’s win over the Dallas Mavericks with a right quad contusion. The Suns trail the Lakers, 57-48, at halftime at Crypto.
com Arena. Devin Booker (ankle), Jalen Green (knee), Jordan Goodwin (ankle) and Haywood Highsmith (knee) were all ruled out before Friday’s game Allen is averaging a career-high 16. 7 points in his third season with the Suns, but he has played in just 51 games this season due to multiple injuries.
