Cris Gambaré and Diogo Pécora meet Mato Grosso governor and MPs On Friday (10), CBF Women’s National Teams Coordinator Cris Gambaré and the president of the Mato Grosso Football Federation (FMF) and head of delegation for the Women’s National Team, Diogo Pécora, took part in an important institutional meeting with the governor of Mato Grosso, Otaviano Pivetta, and state deputies Max Russi and Janaina Riva. The meeting marked a moment of dialogue, recognition, and strategic alignment, at a time when Mato Grosso is preparing to host six FIFA Series matches, reinforcing the state’s leading role on the national and international sports scene. The initiative reinforces the shared commitment between sports organizations and public authorities to promoting women’s football. The FIFA Series begins on Saturday (11), with two matches: Canada vs. Zambia at 3:00 p.
m. , and Brazil vs. South Korea at 9:30 p.
m. (local time). The matches will be played at Arena Pantanal, in Cuiabá, Mato Grosso.
