Jason Kelce Responds to Eagles' Jalen Hurts Disrespect
The noise around Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles continues to be at an all-time high. Over the past few weeks, there have been multiple stories that have come out blaming Hurts, as some believe he was the root of the issue in Philadelphia a year ago. However, as we saw him with other offensive coordinators in the past, a lot of this feels like Kevin Patullo's problem.
Hurts has been the center of reported problems when it comes to the team, but Jason Kelce put things into perspective. He even said that it's fairer for Hurts to act the way he does because most quarterbacks in the NFL have the same exact thought process. “I know there’s a story about Jalen Hurts that came out earlier this week or last week.
I think that, my overall thing is that, especially with Jalen, what quarterback doesn’t wanna run their stuff? ” Kelce said , per Yahoo. “This has kind of been a semblance of things that have been coming out over multiple years.
But all of a sudden now, it’s reached this point where there’s however many sources in there. “I think it’s very coincidental that it comes when the season and everything don’t go the way they want. … The reality is, sometimes these things that are weaknesses when you’re losing, sometimes people view the strength when you’re winning,” he continued.
“I think that kid’s been through a lot. He’s been through a lot of change and I think he’s going to be through a lot of change this year. … There’s going to be a drastically different offense in Philadelphia.
