2027 blue-chip CB Hayden Stepp lists Ducks within final 4 schools
The Oregon Ducks are looking to add to their cornerback room in the 2027 class, as they're in the mix for a blue-chip cover man from Bishop Gorman.
With Brandon Finney Jr. , Ify Obidegwu and Ne'eem Offord, the Oregon Ducks are well-stocked at the cornerback position ahead of the 2026 season. The future is bright, as all are within their first two seasons of college football.
But that's not stopping head Dan Lanning and defensive coordinator Chris Hampton from continuing to stockpile talent at that positon. 2027 four-star cornerback Hayden Stepp released a list of the final four programs that he's considering in his recruitment, with Oregon squarely in the mix. Included alongside the Ducks are top-level programs in Alabama and Georgia, with a familiar face in California making the list as well, led by former Oregon defensive coordinator Tosh Lupoi.
Per On3's Hayes Fawcett, Stepp has official visits scheduled to all three programs. Standing 6-foot-3 and 190 pounds, Stepp is rated as a five-star and is ranked as the No. 5 cornerback in the 2027 class, per 247 Sports Composite.
