Karl is in the midst of a strong campaign and would have been in line for some big minutes in the coming weeks, but now the focus will turn to just getting healthy. Karl’s agent Michael Ballack addressed the news and downplayed the extend of the ailment. “Lennart will be out for three weeks, more or less.

A typical muscle strain. It’s always difficult to say exactly because it’s very individual. It also depends on how it happened and how the recovery goes.

You can’t know exactly, but you can roughly estimate it,” Ballack told DAZN (as captured by @iMiaSanMia ). Ballack makes it sound…not so serious…maybe? Either way, it would be incredible to have this injury just be a three-week turnaround.
