Commitment Alert: 2027 OL Keyon Hemphill-Woods picks Texas Football
Texas Longhorns have secured a commitment from Columbus, Texas three-star IOL Keyon Hemphill-Woods.
Texas football has landed 2027 three star offensive guard Keyon Hemphill-Woods from Columbus, Texas. Hemphill-Woods chose the Longhorns over Texas A&M, Texas Tech, TCU, and Auburn. The 6-foot-3, 275-pound interior lineman too multiple visits to the UT campus this spring and committed to the Horns after a strong final push from the Texas staff.
He told the Texas staff he wanted to commit during a visit last weekend. Keyon Hemphill-Woods is the No. 24 ranked inside offensive line prospect in the 2027 class, according to 247Sports .
Rivals/On3 has the recruit ranked as the No. 30 inside offensive lineman. "I chose Texas because there's no other place like it," Hemphill-Woods told Horns247 .
"The coaches there are the best you can ask for. I have been wanting to go to Texas since I was a kid so when I was blessed to have an opportunity to play there I was super grateful. I didn't want to wait any longer.
